No Black Friday sales and Black Friday does not hurt the economy and actually the massive sells that go on is a great thing for the economy.

Even though the prices are lower for things on Black Friday those items are still being sold which is a good thing and the stores and places that made or make the items still profit so since more goods are being sold more goods can be manufactured to sell.

What would hurt the economy is if people stopped buying merchandise and other goods and they just sit on the shelves in stores and warehouses.

I don't go out shopping on black Friday myself because it's too crowded and sometimes you can get even cheaper deals on items after Black Friday and it's easier to shop.

Or I just buy online when Black Friday sales happen and I usually buy and shop online for things I need or want even if I can go to the store and pick it up directly.
