Used tires can be safe as long as they are not very old and are in good enough condition.

The used tire needs to also have enough tread on it to help you stop the vehicle and to give you enough traction and if you're unsure of the condition of the used tire or the tire age then you could be putting yourself, your family or anyone else on the road in danger when buying used tires to try and save some money.

If you could even put $50.00 per month back into a savings account to pay for new tires when you need them then you would have enough money to buy the new tires in a year and have some money leftover.

Tires is where I never want to try and save money because it's not worth the risk of death, injury, damage to my vehicle etc.

When you need tires for your vehicle you should avoid buying used tires unless absolutely necessary.

Used tires can cost near as much as new tires will cost you when you factor in the installation cost as well as the balancing etc.

I went to a tire shop and asked about some used tires and the used tires were gonna cost me $50.00 per tire after paying for the tire itself, the mounting, balancing and installation fees.

No thanks I can get new tires for my truck for $85.00 installed at Walmart so I passed on it and the tires were 5 years old already and were removed from a vehicle for a reason.

That's the thing with used tires the used tires were changed out on the vehicle for some reason and the likely reason is that they are old and not really safe.

If you put used tires on your vehicle you're gonna likely be getting another set of used tires within a year or two because they can go bad quicker than new tires.

I'm all for saving money but when it comes to tires it's not worth saving the money and then get into a car accident which can cost you your life.

Used tires are not really that great of a deal and will end up costing you more money in the long run.

Always go for new tires when your car needs tires replaced so that you have a good set of tires on your vehicle to protect yourself, your family and others on the road around you.
