A fear of going to sleep is known as Somniphobia in medical terms.

The phobia or fear of going to sleep is also sometimes known as hypnophobia, clinophobia and going to a mental health professional can help you overcome the fear of going to sleep.

I used to have the fear of going to sleep at night and after a few years of going to a psychologist I overcame my fear of going to sleep.

I mainly had a fear of going to sleep and not waking up in the morning but other people may have a fear of going to sleep for other reasons.

You're certainly not alone in your fear of going to sleep so I would recommend seeing a psychologist or therapist about it and discuss this fear with them.

They helped me overcome my fear of going to sleep so they should be able to help you as well.
