The condition folliculitis usually goes away within 7 to 10 days on it's own without any treatment.
You might also experience a mild fever and have an upset stomach along with the folliculitis and if you do it should go away within 10 days at most.
If the folliculitis doesn't go away within 10 to 14 days then you might want to see a doctor about it.
The last time I had folliculitis it went away fully within 7 days.
You can help get rid of the folliculitis by applying a warm compress or some apple cider vinegar to the affected area of the folliculitis.
