You can help get rid of the folliculitis by applying a warm compress or some apple cider vinegar to the affected area of the folliculitis.
The folliculitis is usually not serious in most cases and even without treatment it should go away in 10 days at most but treating it at home helps it go away sooner.
Or even using a facial wash on other parts of your skin as well as facial cleansers work good for treatment of the folliculitis on all parts of the body and not just for washing your face.
The condition folliculitis usually goes away within 7 to 10 days on it's own without any treatment.
You might also experience a mild fever and have an upset stomach along with the folliculitis and if you do it should go away within 10 days at most.
If the folliculitis doesn't go away within 10 to 14 days then you might want to see a doctor about it.
The last time I had folliculitis it went away fully within 7 days.
