Chain link fence is made of metal so you can scrap chain link fence.
But you won't get much money out of the scrap chain link fence if you haul it to a scrap yard.
I had some old scrap chain link fence in the back of my truck and when I took it in along with a bit of other scrap metal to just get rid of it I only got $10.00 for the load.
It paid for the gasoline too and from the scrap yard but that was all.
If you had a lot of chain link fence then you might make more but you certainly won't get rich selling scrap metal or scrap chain link fence.
If your scrap yard is nearby then it might be worth it to take it there just to get rid of it but otherwise it might be best to just set it out by the curb and some scrapper will come by and take it for free.
