If the toddlers diaper is really wet and soaked then it needs changed and then in that case no it's not okay to leave the soaking wet diaper on the toddler as it can lead to rashes and it's unsanitary.

However if the toddlers diaper is just slightly wet and they only wet in the diaper once or twice and there's still more room in the diaper for more pee then it's okay to not change the diaper until it's full.

Disposable diapers that are made today are very absorbent and the toddler will likely not even know they are wet as the diaper holds the wetness away from their skin.

It also depends on the age of the toddler as a 1 year old toddler may need a diaper change every 1 to 2 hours depending on how much they drink and how much they pee.

A 2 or 3 year old may not need a diaper change until every 3 to 4 hours depending on how much the kid drinks and how much they pee.

My 3 year old only needed a diaper change for pee after 4 and sometimes 5 hours because sometimes after 3 hours he'd only be slightly wet and then a few hours later he would pee a lot and need changed.

That shows that his bladder was maturing and he's was beginning to be able to hold his urine and let it all out at once.

I never changed the toddlers diaper when they wet just once or twice and would let it fill up and then change it.
