To become a biochemist it takes at least 6 years of college education.

You need to study to earn a Bachelors Degree which can take a few years and you also need to earn your doctoral degree in biophysics or biochemistry.

A biochemist Ph.D. holder begins their career in a temporary postdoctoral research position, which typically lasts two to three years.

So if you want to become a biochemist expect to study between 3 to 6 years.

All that study will be worth it once you pass the exams and graduate as a biochemist and then get hired.

Biochemists earn from $65,000.00 to $128,000.00 per year depending on your experience.
