Yes motels are cheaper to stay at than hotels are.

Motels are usually just meant for someone traveling to get a shower and get some rest and then be on their way and for those people who only need a place to sleep and not a fancier place with more luxuries.

Hotels are more expensive because they have more luxuries and things for the person staying at the hotel and they are usually fancier.

A hotel also has the access to the rooms on the inside of the building where a motel you access the motel room from the parking lot.

Hotel rooms usually range from $100.00 to $150.00 per night but sometimes even more if the hotel is more fancier.

You usually get room service in a hotel as well but it can cost an additional amount of money.

Hotels do typically get cheaper the longer you stay.

If you plan to stay longer than a few days or need to stay a week or longer you can usually get a better rate on the hotel room and pay less per night for the hotel room.

Hotel rooms do get cheaper the longer you wait as hotel prices drop the longer you wait to book the hotel room.

Hotels do get cheaper the closer to the date of the stay as hotels are always aiming to maximize their occupancy rate and many hotels decrease and lower their rates if they are not meeting their expected targets.

Hotel prices will usually go down once demand drops and they cannot fill all their rooms.

Hotels will usually drop their hotel room prices a few days before check in date or on the day of arrival.

When hotels have their rooms filled they will usually raise their rates.

When there's less demand for hotel rooms the hotel rooms will usually go down in cost and when there's an increase in demand for hotel rooms the price of the hotel rooms will increase.

The reason hotels are so expensive is because of the cost of the building, cost to pay employees, property taxes and also surging demand for hotel rooms.

Hotel rates have increased mainly due to surging demand and not enough rooms for everyone who needs or wants a hotel room.

Hawaii and Florida have seen a huge demand for hotel rooms and so their prices have also increased as well.

Hotel prices are so high right now as demand for hotel rooms and demand for travel have increased.

Also inflation is another cause of hotel prices being so high as hotels have to increase the price of their rooms when their costs to provide the hotel room increases.
