To get smoke smell out of fabric you can fill a bucket with warm water and then add a cup of baking soda and a cup of vinegar.

Then soak the fabric in the bucket with the vinegar, baking soda and warm water for 4 or 5 hours or even overnight.

Then wash the fabric or other clothes like normal in your washing machine and add a cup of baking soda to the washing machine again along with some vinegar.

The smoke smell should be out of the fabric after that.

Spraying some Febreeze or other odor neutralizer onto the clothing or washing the fabric in some Tide Laundry Detergent or other Laundry detergent that has a good smell to it can help get rid of the smoke smell from fabric.

But the best thing to do is soak the fabric in the vinegar, baking soda and water for a minimum of 4 to 5 hours but like I mentioned soaking the fabric overnight in it will help to remove the smoke smell much better.
