Is it hard to become a physical therapist?

Yes it is hard to become a physical therapist although being a physical therapist is a good career and pays good.

But to become a physical therapist requires at least 7 years of study in college after high school.

To become a physical therapist you need to get a DPT degree which is a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and you also need to get a Bachelors Degree.

Once you have those degrees you can become a physical therapist.

But first you must also pass a written licensing exam and, depending on the state, a law exam to be hired as a physical therapist.

So you need to be well versed in law especially regarding patients rights etc before becoming a physical therapist.

So while it's not impossible for someone to become a physical therapist it is hard work and requires lots of study to get the degrees and college education to become a physical therapist.
