As you age the hormones that help produce hair change which causes a slow down in growth of hair.

So yes as you grow older and age your hair starts to grow slower and sometimes the older you get the more chance you have at losing your hair and suffering from hair loss.

As you age your hair strands become smaller and have less pigment and when that happens the thick coarse hair of a young adult eventually becomes thin, fine, light-colored hair.

Losing hair as you age is also normal as is having slower hair growth.

You can use some hair growing serums to help with hair growth when your hair begins to grow slower.
