When your car feels like it's going to stall the problem is usually the engine misfire being the problem.

The engine misfire could be bad ignition coils, bad spark plugs etc or the issue could be clogged fuel injectors or low fuel pressure.

If your car has a distributor cap and rotor the distributor cap and rotor could be the cause as well.

Another issue is the Idle Air Control Valve which helps regulate the idle speed and when the Idle Air Control Valve is bad then it could cause the engine to stall or feel like it's gonna stall.

Your mass air flow sensor could be another culprit of an engine feeling like it's stalling or an engine stalling as well.

The Idle Air Control Valve can cause an engine misfire to happen due to an improper air/fuel mixture being supplied to the engine and make it feel like the engine is gonna stall or it can even cause the engine to stall.
