A few different things can cause a car to jerk when you're driving and accelerating.
Those few things are fuel and ignition.
First thing I would check is to make sure the engine is getting enough fuel pressure and that your fuel injectors are not clogged.
When the fuel injectors are clogged or the fuel pump is not producing enough pressure the engine can hesitate upon acceleration and cause the car to jerk.
A clogged fuel filter could also be the culprit.
Another thing that can cause a car to jerk while driving is bad ignition coils or bad spark plugs that are not producing enough spark to ignite the fuel properly.
When I had a car that was jerking when accelerating it turned out to be a few bad ignition coils that needed replacing because the engine was misfiring.
After replacing the faulty ignition coils the car ran smoothly and the car stopped jerking while driving.
