After you have a chemo treatment for cancer you may feel tired and bad for at least 24 to 48 hours after the chemo treatments.

Some people who have chemo treatments may feel bad and tired for as long as a week but most people feel bad for only 24 to 48 hours after the chemo.

Feeling tired is worth it to get rid of the cancer and if you get rid of the cancer then you'll feel much better and live longer.

You may also have acute vomiting 5 to 6 hours after you have the chemo which should go away within a few hours to 24 hours.

If you're still feeling bad and vomiting and it's not getting better you might want to go to the emergency room or urgent care to get checked out just in case.

However vomiting and feeling fatigued for 24 to 48 hours and sometimes feeling fatigued for up to a week can sometimes be normal for some people who have chemo treatments.
