Vehicle tires last around 5 to 10 years depending on how often you drive and how many miles you drive per year.

If you drive around 10,000 to 15,000 miles per year then the tread may wear down enough in only 5 years and then the tires may need replaced then.

If you drive less miles than that per year then you may only need to replace the tires every 10 years or so.

After 10 years the tires really should be replaced regardless of the amount of tread on the tire because after 10 years the rubber on the tires can break down and crack and then as you go down the road at high speeds the tires could blowout.

On an older truck of mine that rarely sees road use and is mostly used driving around town at 10 miles per hour or less I have tires on the back of the old truck that are 17 years old and are cracking.

But I don't replace those yet because I only putter around town in it and if the tire blows it's no big deal because I'm not driving very fast.

But if I were driving that truck down the highway then I would replace the tires for safety reasons.
