As a regular tuneup it's recommended that you change your vehicles spark plugs every 50,000 to 100,000 miles.

I change my own spark plugs in all my vehicles after every 100,000 miles which is around every 10 years or so depending on how much I drive.

My car sees more driving and racks up the 100,000 miles faster than my truck which I only drive occasionally so the truck may not get 100,000 miles on it until 12 years or so.

But regardless the spark plugs which are cheap enough get replaced every 10 years and sometimes sooner.

The changing of the spark plugs will help keep your engine running smooth and help improve your engine power, performance and even improve your fuel mileage.

I also change out the spark plug wires along with the spark plugs and since my truck has a distributor cap and rotor I change those every 10 years or 100,000 miles as well.
