I normally use regular Autolite spark plugs in all my vehicles but the last time I changed my truck over to some Autolite double platinum spark plugs which was a year ago it seemed to improve the gas mileage and performance of my trucks engine.
I would say that the Autolite double platinum spark plugs are better for engine performance than regular spark plugs are.
Although the cheaper spark plugs will do just fine but I did notice I got better gas mileage and had more power from my engine in my truck.
So in my opinion the extra little cost for the double platinum spark plugs was well worth it and I would highly recommend them to anyone else.
You really only have to change spark plugs including Autolite double platinum spark plugs every 50,000 to 100,000 miles which is a lot of driving.
After 100,000 miles I do a complete tuneup on my vehicle no matter what to keep my engine running smoothly and prevent break downs.
