My 7 year old told me he was gay?

Yesterday my 7 year old son came out to me and told me that he was gay?

Is it possible for a 7 year old to know if he's gay or does it usually take longer for them to know if they are gay?

What should I tell him or talk to him about or should I just leave it alone?

I still love him no matter what and if he's gay then that is fine but I'm thinking that at 7 years old he's too young to really know for sure he's gay or not.

Yes a 7 year old child can be gay and know it.

7 year olds don't have much interest in sexual things but they still can be attracted to either other girls or boys.

7 year olds know more about sexual things than you would think.

It could be that your 7 year old son is thinking he's gay and may not know for sure fully if he is gay or not.

Just be there for him let him know that it's okay if he is gay and that you still love him but as he gets older you can still ask him if he is still gay and if so it's still okay.

Being gay is not a choice and people are born gay because their brain is wired differently than non gay people.

Not everyone has the same sexual feelings and that is okay as well.
