Tires wear down as you go down the road and put on miles on the tires.

The more you drive the more you wear the tire tread down and when you drive fast the tires create more friction on the road surface which causes the tires tread to also wear down faster.

So driving fast does indeed wear your tires down faster.

So to keep your tires in good shape and to make the tread of the tires last longer you should avoid speeding and drive at a normal speed.

Because yes driving fast and speeding does actually wear the tires tread down faster than driving at normal speeds.
