As long as the crab in the crab cakes is fully cooked all the way through and not half raw then you can safely eat crab cakes during pregnancy.

You just want to make sure that the crab cakes are fully cooked to kill off any potential bacteria that may be in the crab cakes that could harm the baby or yourself during pregnancy.

As long as you make sure the crab cakes have the crab meat fully cooked then there's no problem eating the crab cakes when pregnant.

When pregnant you can safely eat many other meats as well including chicken, hamburger, steak, crabs etc as long as you cook the meats to a temperature where they are fully cooked.

I consumed crab cakes during both my pregnancies and the babies turned out just fine and I had no complications with the pregnancy of either of my babies.

So yes eat those crab cakes when pregnant but just make sure the crab meat is well done before eating them.

Crab cakes are good in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Crab cakes can be baked.

A crab cake is a variety of fishcake that is popular in the United States.

It is composed of crab meat and various other ingredients, such as bread crumbs, mayonnaise, mustard, eggs, and seasonings.

The crab cake is then sautéed, baked, grilled, deep fried, or broiled.

To bake crab cakes heat your oven to 350 F and for best results brush the crab cakes with some olive oil and then place the crab cakes on a baking sheet.

If the crab cakes are frozen cook them in the oven for 25 minutes and if the crab cakes are thawed cook them for 15 minutes.

Be sure to flip the crab cakes at least once during the baking of them so that both sides of the crab cakes get cooked all the way through.

You'll know when the crab cakes are cooked all the way through when the crab cakes interior has heated through because the inside steams during searing.
