Vinegar is very safe to use in your washing machine including front loading and top loading washing machines as well as high efficiency washing machines.

The vinegar will not do any harm to your washing machine and will actually help clean your washing machine while getting your clothes clean naturally.

Vinegar is a natural cleaning solution that can clean and disinfect clothes and other laundry safely and vinegar is also safe and beneficial for septic tanks and septic systems as well.

I use vinegar along with laundry detergent and sometimes use vinegar by itself to clean my laundry with and the clothes and other laundry come out really fresh and clean.

Distilled vinegar is a very good and all natural solution to clean laundry and whiten, brighten, reduce odor, and soften clothes without harsh chemicals found in other detergents.

Vinegar can also clean your washing machine as well.

Add a cup or two of vinegar to your washing machine and then pour in a cup of baking soda and start the washing machine up and allow it to go through a wash cycle.

After the washing machines goes through the wash cycle you should pause the washing machine and allow it to sit for an hour or so.

Then run the washing machine through the rinse cycle and wipe the inside of the washing machine down.

You might need to run the washing machine through a second wash and rinse cycle to clear all the residue out of it.

But doing this every 6 months or so will keep your washing machine clean and smelling good.
