Which brands of washing machines last the longest?

I'm in the market for a new washing machine and trying to find a washing machine that is the longest lasting and gets my clothes the cleanest?

What washing machine brand out there will last the longest and get my clothes really clean?

I'd have to say Maytag.

I had a Maytag washing machine that lasted 40 years. And I bought it used.

Though I don't know about today's washing machines but back then the washing machines were built like tanks.

I did buy a new Maytag and it's been working good for 10 years now and showing no signs of stopping yet.
