You can feed your newborn baby more at night if they are hungry and usually the newborn will cry and wake you for at least the first 6 months of their life for feedings.

You'll lose a lot of sleep for at least 6 months of the newborns life but eventually the baby will begin to sleep through the night without needing a feeding.

Some newborns may want a feeding through the night until 6 months of age while some may go through the nigh without a feeding after 3 or 4 months of age.

You can try to feed the newborn in the middle of the night or when you think they might be hungry and if they are not hungry then they will push the bottle away or refuse to breastfeed depending on how you feed them.

My newborn always woke me up in the middle of the night when he was hungry so I was prepared to feed him at all times.

After 6 months of age he never woke up for a feeding and didn't want a feeding until the next morning.

Your baby will usually let you know exactly whether or not they want a feeding or not.
