Having a little bit of blood in our boogers or snot is normal especially during winter weather when the air is more dry.
During winter when the air is dry or when we are in heated houses or heated buildings where the air is dry it's also normal to get blood noses in winter.
The dry air dries out our blood vessels which crack them and causes the blood to enter our noses and get our snot or boogers bloody or cause our noses to bleed.
Also when you pick your nose you can sometimes tear a blood vessel in your nose and cause a little bit of blood to come out.
If the blood in the boogers goes away within a few days to a week then there's nothing to worry about.
If the bloody boogers last longer than that then you might want to let a doctor know to be tested for other causes.
But usually it's very normal and nothing bad that is happening.
