Taking a road trip to Yellowstone National Park costs different amounts depending on your MPG and how far away you are from Yellowstone National Park.
For me I drove my old truck that got 15 miles per gallon pulling my small camper trailer so it cost me $180.00 in gasoline one way for the 1,000 mile road trip to Yellowstone.
So in gasoline cost it cost me $360.00 in gasoline for the complete round trip to Yellowstone and back to my home which I drove 2,000 miles total.
Then the cost of the pass was $25.00 to go into the park and $45.00 per night to stay in the RV parks.
So the complete trip with gasoline costs and RV park stays was around $500.00 which was well worth it.
It was a great stress reliever for me and helped get rid of my depression.
I would highly recommend a trip to Yellowstone and if your vehicle gets better gas mileage it could cost you only $300.00
