Growing an indoor orchid takes around 6 to 10 weeks which is a little over two months.
Once your orchid does flower the orchid usually remains in bloom for six to ten weeks after the orchid flowers.
If you re potted the orchid it can take another year for the orchid to re flower again because orchids don't do well or like to be disturbed.
For best results if you can you should purchase the orchids already in pots instead of bare root but if not possible then bare root orchids are okay but require more care.
If you take good care of the orchid it should live a long time and may even outlast your lifetime as some orchids can live 100 years or more with proper care.
