Since a Penske Truck or other rental truck is not considered to be a commercial truck when you're driving the truck yourself then you do not have to stop at weigh stations.
I've driven Penske moving trucks for myself and also for a neighbor before and never did stop at a weigh station except for only the first time in a larger Penske Truck because I wasn't sure.
The weigh station people said that I didn't need to stop at the weigh station when in a rental truck but if I were driving commercially I would be required too.
So you can usually just go on through the road and pass the weigh station without needing to stop.
Only commercial drivers driving those box trucks driving commercially and moving people need to stop at a weigh station.
