Most Lantana plants will grow perfectly well in pots.

But just note that some types of the Lantana plant will grow to a very large size that could mean you need to transplant the Lantana plant out of the pot and outside.

If the Lantana plant does get too large for the pot all you need to do is safely and easily transplant the Lantana from the pot indoors to the ground outside.

Dwarf versions of Lantana plants will usually be okay in pots and not need to be transplanted but if you have the larger varieties of the Lantana then you might need to move the plant outdoors when and if it grows too big for the pot.

Some Lantana Plants can grow up to 6 feet tall so if you want to keep them indoors you might need a larger container to keep them in.
