When you first meet a pig and the pig meets you for the first time the pig might be nervous and not want to bond right away.
But as the pig gets used to you and you treat the pig properly and show love to the pig the pig or pigs will also bond with the human.
I knew a guy who had a pig and the pig bonded with him and would follow him around the farm and would even sit in his lap on the porch or wherever he would sit down.
The pig loved to be petted and wanted to sit in the guys lap.
When the guy died the pig was or seemed to be very upset as a result and would not eat and was looking for his friend.
So yes just like dogs can bond with humans pigs can too.
