Duracell Alkaline batteries can only be recharged if they are labeled as being a rechargeable battery.
If the Duracell Alkaline Battery is not labeled as a rechargeable battery then it cannot be recharged.
If you try to recharge a non rechargeable battery the battery and charger can get too hot and then possibly explode or leak or even catch fire.
I have tried recharging non rechargeable batteries and the battery charger got too hot and I unplugged it to prevent a fire or explosion.
The batteries also never really fully recharged anyway.
Now I used rechargeable batteries which cost a bit more but they are worth the extra money and save me money in the long run because I don't have to buy more batteries.
