In my experience when you want a long lasting car battery you should go for an Interstate Brand of Car battery.
I've had interstate car batteries last 10 to 12 years whereas the cheaper car batteries last maybe 3 to 5 years.
You might spend a bit more for an Interstate car battery but in my experience and opinion they are well worth the cost.
I hate being stranded and will gladly pay for a quality made product such as the Interstate battery as they also hold up really good during the freezing temperatures.
In the winter before I had the cheaper car batteries go low and hardly start the vehicle but with an Interstate car battery I never had that problem.
