Yes kayaking does help burn calories because you're working your muscles and giving your body a good workout.

Padding a kayak for one hour will burn off 500 calories so by just paddling a kayak for 1 hour per day can burn off 500 calories and if you paddle a kayak for 2 hours per day you can burn off 1,000 calories per day.

Paddling a kayak is fun and good exercise and can keep you in good health and keep your body in shape and help you lose weight.

I lost over 100 lbs by paddling a Kayak and Canoe over the course of a couple of years so I had fun, got in better shape, improved my health and lost weight.

I go kayaking and canoeing every summer when I have time off from work and I can't wait for summertime again to go do it again.
