For the average driver who drives there vehicle a lot it can take only 10 months to a year to rack up 10,000 miles on the odometer of a vehicle.

Most people drive on average of 12,000 miles in a year commuting to and from work and driving on road trips etc.

I average 15,000.00 miles per year on my truck so it takes me around 9 to 10 months to see 10,000 miles on my odometer.

If you drive 10,000 miles per year then you would drive 50,000 miles every 5 years or 100,000 miles every 10 years.

Or in 20 years of driving 10,000 miles per year you would drive 200,000 miles in 20 years.

Of course some people drive farther than that sooner and some people can drive as much as 20,000 miles per year driving long distances for work etc.
