How can I get urine out of a recliner?

My son who is 3 and still in diapers likes to sleep in his dad's recliner when he's not home and he leaked through his diaper and got urine onto the upholstered recliner.

How can I get the urine cleaned out of the upholstery in the recliner?

To get urine out of the recliner you should sprinkle some baking soda onto the recliner and then spray some straight white vinegar onto the urine and let it sit for 30 minutes or so and then use an upholstery cleaner to clean the urine out of the recliner.

My kids have leaked their diapers on our couch and recliners as well and no matter how often you change their diaper they can still wet enough to leak out the diaper.

I've just used an upholstery cleaning machine after spraying some vinegar and putting baking soda on it and then I used the upholstery cleaning machine with some vinegar and then some regular upholstery cleaning solution to suck the urine out of the recliner and couch.

It worked good then if the weather was nice I would take the recliner out back in the sun and let the sun dry it out and help remove more of the odor.

The couch cushions I did the same.

You could also use some urine odor neutralizer to help remove the urine.
