Most people who have fibromyalgia get the fibromyalgia from other preexisting conditions such as arthritis, infections etc.

If you do have arthritis then your chances of getting fibromyalgia are higher.

Some people who have been abused as a child or adult can also get fibromyalgia later on in life because the abuse changes the way a persons brain process and deals with pain.

The condition fibromyalgia is sometimes triggered by things such as a stressful event, including physical stress or emotional, psychological stress.

Some signs of fibromyalgia are Headaches, Fatigue, Pain and tender points, Morning Stiffness, Anxiety and depression, Concentration and memory problems, known as "fibro fog".

The condition Fibromyalgia has been around since the 1800's but it used to be thought to be a mental condition causing the fibromyalgia but it's a real thing in some people.
