Do you need a Pap smear if you don't have a cervix?

If you had a full hysterectomy and don't have any Cervix anymore then you don't require or need to have anymore Pap smears.

If you had a partial hysterectomy then you will still need to continue to have Pap smears done.

A partial hysterectomy preserves the Cervix so in that case since the Cervix is still there then you need the Pap smear tests done.

But if you don't have a Cervix anymore due to a full hysterectomy then you no longer need to have Pap smears.

Pap smears need to be done every year or at least every other year to test for any diseases and conditions such as cervical cancer.

But if you don't have a cervix anymore then you won't be able to get cervical cancer.
