Sugar from fruit and sugar from sugar cane are both sugar and too much of the sugar whether in fruit or regular sugar is bad for you.
But the sugar in fruit is a healthier version of the sugar so eating fruit with sugar is more healthy for you than eating foods containing sugar from sugar cane.
Too much fruit that contains sugar can cause weight gain if you're losing weight so eat the fruit in moderation and you should still lose weight.
But if you eat too much fruit then you might gain weight.
If you're diabetic and cannot consume sugar then eating too much fruit may cause your blood sugar levels to increase to dangerous levels.
But even when you're diabetic it's safe to eat a little fruit everyday but just keep check on your blood sugar levels.
