If your diaper is leaking when you pee and fill it up then you're likely peeing too fast all at once.

If you want to wet your diaper and fill the diaper up with pee without the diaper leaking you should release the pee into the diaper in slow small amounts to avoid flooding the diaper.

Some thinner diapers may leak more if you flood the diaper all at once but some thicker diapers that are more absorbent can take a flood of pee without leaking.

So if you wear thinner diapers then you may need to slowly wet the diaper in smaller amounts or wear a thicker diaper that can take on a faster wetting.

I don't really flood my diapers because I don't hold the pee in to pee in the diaper since I wear diapers all the time and just pee a little bit of pee into the diaper as my bladder starts to fill up.

If you're sitting down and peeing then sometimes sitting down can squish the pee out of the diaper and not allow it to absorb properly.

So you may need to stand up when peeing and filling your diaper up to avoid it leaking.
