The money tree got it's name from the fortune that the man who discovered the money tree plant came into after he discovered the money tree and started selling the money tree which made the man a lot of money.
Hence the name money tree.
Basically the man who found this "odd" plant, took it home as an omen, and had great fortune in selling plants grown from the seeds.
So that's why the money tree is named the money tree even though it doesn't grow money which I really wish it would.
The money tree is a great plant to have around as well.
Also the man who discovered the money tree was a very poor man who prayed for money and he made lots of money after selling the trees to people who wanted them.
The money tree is a pretty highly sought after tree so they sell pretty fast and a lot of money trees are sold.
