I moved to a town I hate and want to move back home

Has anyone here moved to a town they thought they would like but now hate it and wished they could move back to their hometown?

Last year I sold my house and moved to a town that I thought I would love. I've been in the new town and new home for 1 year now and I absolutely hate it here and wish I could move back to my old hometown and back into my old house.

But I can't move back into my old house because I sold it and there's no other houses for sale in my old hometown.

I took out a new mortgage on this house so I can't just up and sell right now and I'm not sure where else I can move too that I would like.

A few years ago I moved away from my hometown and moved to a town I thought I would like but I hated it and moved right back after 3 months.

Luckily my house didn't sell yet and I took it off the market and put my new house on the market to sell.

You can sell your house while still having a mortgage on it if you want too. But you need to go through the mortgage company to sell the home and get permission to sell it.

But you might lose money selling it if you can't get the full asking price for it or what you're paying for it.
