Newborns for some reason tend to be more hungry during the night and will wake the parents up by crying sometimes to get a feeding.

If your baby is under 6 months old and wakes up crying and wants fed you should always feed the baby to make sure they are getting enough to eat so they won't be so hungry.

The baby once fed will then have a full tummy and will sleep better because if you don't get up and feed the baby at night the baby will continue to cry until you do feed them and you won't get any sleep.

Be prepared to wake up in the middle of the night and lose some sleep at night to feed the baby for at least the first 6 months of the babies life.

Always have a bottle ready or be prepared to breastfeed the baby during the middle of the night and you may have to get some sleep during the day when possible.

During the first few weeks of a babies life, most babies wake up every 2 to 3 hours, day and night to feed because they tend to be more hungry during that time.
