A 10 month old baby will usually go through 5 or 6 diapers in a day.

You should check the 10 month old babies diaper every 2 to 3 hours to see if it's wet enough to need changed or check to see if they pooped in the diaper.

If the 10 month old baby has pooped then you should change them as soon as you notice.

When the 10 month old has just wet their diaper you can wait until the baby has wet in the diaper at least 3 times before changing it.

Disposable diapers today are very absorbent and can hold at least 3 or 4 pees before it starts to get too full and leaks.

You can feel the diaper between your fingers and if it feels really squishy then it's time for a change but if the diaper is just a little wet then you can wait another hour or 2 before changing it.

My 10 month olds got a diaper change every 3 hours during the day unless they pooped then they got it changed even if it was not wet.

However if the baby or toddler peed even just once and the diaper was still only half full and we were leaving the house I would go ahead and change their diaper before leaving the house.

That way I wouldn't have to worry about the baby or toddler needing another diaper change right away because they would leak through their diapers away from home if they had a partly wet diaper.
