Waterbed mattresses are much heavier than a regular mattress when the waterbed mattress is filled with water.

Some regular bed frames might be stout enough for the waterbed mattress and can sometimes hold up a waterbed mattress without a problem.

However if your bed frame is just flimsy metal frame for the bed then no that type of bed frame would not be able to hold up your waterbed mattress and it would collapse as soon as you started filling the waterbed mattress with water.

You need a good strong bed frame to support the weight that a waterbed mattress will put onto the bed frame so be sure that you have a good strong bed frame.

Or better yet just get a bed frame that is made for waterbeds so that you won't have any problems with it potentially collapsing.

Also make sure your floor can hold up the weight of the waterbed as well because waterbeds are heavy when filled with water.

A mobile home floor would likely fall through eventually if you used a waterbed in it but it might hold it up.
