Sticky Poop in toddlers could be caused by the food that the toddler is eating which is sometimes the case.

But other times the sticky poop in a toddler could mean that blood is mixing with digestive fluids and making the toddlers poop sticky but usually it will also be tarry looking as well.

The toddler could also have celiac disease or could be lactose intolerant which can also be a cause of sticky poop in your toddler.

Gastrointestinal Disease can also be another cause of sticky poop in toddlers and even adults and if your toddlers poop continues being sticky and doesn't firm up or get better and more normal within a few days then I would recommend scheduling an appointment with your toddlers doctor to have him or her checked out.

Sometimes it's nothing very serious and other times it can be cause for concern but your toddlers pediatrician can help fix the problem.
