Breastfed babies are less likely to get trapped wind or gas in their stomachs when breastfeeding.
But it's possible for babies who are breastfed to get gas or trapped wind just like bottle fed babies can and do.
You still usually need to burp a breastfed baby just like you would burp a bottle fed baby to release the gas or trapped win in their stomach.
Babies have immature GI systems and can frequently experience trapped wind or gas as a result of the immature GI system.
So be sure to burp your baby after breastfeeding or bottle feeding to make sure the baby has gotten rid of the trapped wind or gas in their stomach.
