As far as we know right now bed bugs do not carry any diseases like some other bugs do.
When people get bitten by bed bugs they usually do not get any sickness or other disease from the bed bugs so getting bitten by a bed bug while unpleasant is not a very dangerous thing.
The bed bugs when they bite you can cause loss of sleep, red spots and itchy skin but other than that they are not very harmful.
Still you should get rid of bed bugs and check your bedding and clothing for bed bugs and hire an exterminator to get rid of any bed bugs you have before they get out of control.
Even if your house is very clean the bed bugs can show up in your home so you should always check your house for bed bugs.
You can buy some bed bug spray and bed bug fogger that you set off in your house and bedrooms to get rid of bed bugs.
But I would highly recommend getting a professional exterminator in to get rid of the bed bugs as it's well worth the money.
I paid $50.00 per room to get rid of bed bugs in my home and it was well worth the money because I could never seem to get rid of the bed bugs completely.
After using the exterminator I haven't had anymore problems with the bed bugs.
