It's normal for other cars to follow other cars on the road.

However if a car is just following you home and it's not turning any other direction and staying right behind you and it seems suspicious then you should dial 911 and report the car following you as suspicious and give your address or location where you're at.

Stay in your car and if the car stays behind you do not leave the spot but do not get out of your car until the police arrive.

If you feel unsafe then drive your car away from the area and see if the car follows you again and keep in contact with 911 if you have to move the car and let the dispatcher know the street you're on when you moved the vehicle.

Stay in your vehicle until police arrive and check out the situation.

Getting out of your vehicle could prove dangerous as the person could be waiting to kidnap you and do harm.

So your car is the safest place for you to be until the cops arrive.
