Most pacifiers need to be replaced every 2 to 3 months or whenever it gets cracks or tears in the nipple of the pacifier.

Before you give your baby or child a pacifier inspect the pacifier to make sure it is in good shape and has not cracks or tears.

If the pacifier has any cracks or tears you should give the baby a new pacifier and throw the old one out.

Even if the crack is small you should not give it to your baby or child because the nipple can come apart and create a choking hazard for your child.

If it's been 3 months since the pacifier has been replaced you should plan on replacing it with a new one to make sure the baby is safe from any choking hazard.

When the baby gets teeth then the pacifiers will wear out much sooner so inspect the pacifier often and if it looks torn or cracked throw it out.
