When you have thickening of the uterus it is not usually cause for concern.

When a woman's uterus thickens it's known medically as Endometrial Hyperplasia.

Endometrial Hyperplasia due to thickening of the uterus is not cancerous so it is not dangerous.

However women who do have thickening of the uterus or Endometrial Hyperplasia have a higher risk of developing uterine cancer than those woman who do not have thickening of the uterus.

Some woman experience thickening of the uterus while others do not but just because you have a thickened uterus doesn't mean you're gonna get cancer.

It just means that you have a higher chance of developing cancer of the uterus.
